ThermaSolutions was honored to be a first-time supporter of the Perfusion.com Sanibel Conference in 2021. This annual event is a gathering of Perfusionists from all over the United States for education and networking. Held virtually this year, ThermaSolutions participated in a virtual exhibit booth and also added to the educational content with a presentation to the group entitled: “HIPEC and Ovarian Cancer”. As perfusion is involved in application of techniques for many types of conditions and operating room devices, it was great to lead the discussion on a topic that is growing in use. HIPEC and ovarian cancer was addresses as part of several papers that the Chicago Consensus workgroup produced in 2020 to discuss treatment regimens for abdominal cancers.
